The biggest factor in longevity is prep work — specifically caulking, priming, and ensuring all failing paint is removed before the new coat goes on. We don't cut corners on prep.

Yes, though there are important considerations. We only paint vinyl siding if it's in good structural condition and we use a paint specifically formulated for vinyl — one that won't crack or peel as the siding expands and contracts with temperature changes. We also only apply colors equal to or lighter than the original to avoid warping from heat absorption.
